Owner / Account Executive
A native of New Bern, NC, Shannon graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in English. After attending the Carolina Publishing Institute, she produced two successful event planning calendars for Eastern North Carolina. Her love of event planning and keen eye for detail eventually led her into the tradeshow and exhibit industry, where she now has over ten years of experience working with a variety of clients on a national level, including IBM, Progress Energy, The American Kennel Club, and The US Tennis Association. She has managed hundreds of displays from original design sketches to finished exhibits and has applied that experience to a variety of media. She understands that event planning and project management can be both time-consuming and overwhelming, but her experience and positive attitude give peace of mind and assurance that details will be checked and deadlines will be met. By working closely with her clients, she provides the best, most effective tools for her clients to stand out among the competition.
Graphic Designer / Website Developer
Shane received a scholarship to attend Shepherd University where he graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in painting. In addition to taking on a variety of freelance projects over the years, Shane has served as Art Director for advertising/marketing firms in both Maryland and North Carolina where he played a key role in the design and development of print, web, multimedia, and television advertising for both business to business and consumer accounts. Shane is always pushing the envelope and discovering new techniques and technologies that can be employed to help clients grow their business and stay ahead of the competition. At the core of every project is his firm belief that success can only be measured by the success of his clients. Shane has received praise, accolades and awards over the years from both industry and client-related sources, including 6 Graphic Design USA awards, numerous print industry awards and an Ellie Award.
Art Director / Photographer
Matt has over 8 years of experience in graphic communication, web design and brand development. He has been employed for the largest advertising agency in the world–Ogilvy & Mather, and the smallest–himself. He's worked on national and international accounts for the likes of Tyco, IBM, and Divi Resorts to name a few. He holds a BA in Graphic Communications and a Minor in Design from NC State University, graduating Cum Laude. His knowledge of the internet, dynamic content, graphic design and printing processes gives him an overall roundness that provides a unique fit with Trade Ideas. Matt has obtained multiple awards for design, direct mail and corporate identity systems, including 8 American Graphic Design Awards.
